Impact Dance Company was founded in 1995 by its current artistic director and one of its choreographers, Hakeem Onibudo.
Impact Dance is a Hip-Hop Theatre Company/Street Dance Organisation and Educational Facilitator. We work with both professional dancers and youth dancers to; fuse street and contemporary movement with physical theatre; and produce a story through narrative dance. Hakeem sees this narrative work as a means of communicating idea's and the reality.
We run a variety of workshops and masterclasses, open classes, performances, aswell as summer time dance holidays.
Impact work with large institutions including Sadler's Wells, East London Dance, The Royal Ballet, Greenwich Dance agency, and the BBC - amongst others - to produce a wide range of both youth and professional projects.
